Châtel
is situated only an hour and a half’s drive away from
Geneva Airport, below the lake. There are numerous daily flights from the UK,
and it is serviced by budget airline Easyjet as well
many others. During the winter season we provide a
transfer service for our guests to and from Geneva
airport, for those who require it. For those staying
less than 5 nights we provide the same service but with
a small supplement - please see

For
those not staying at the chalet we have a transport
license and are therefore able to provide transfers and
an in resort taxi service. For further information

Train
Those travelling to the area could also opt
for the snow train. The closest stations are Thonon-les-bains (France,
www.sncf.com) which is situated only 45
minutes from Châtel, or Aigle Station (Switzerland,
www.cff.ch)
which is just 25 minutes away. There are transfer
services from the station that can be booked in advance.

Airlines that fly to Geneva:
On
arrival at Geneva (flying from the UK you will come into
the Swiss side of the airport) if you require car
rentals there are numerous options, though during the
winter months we provide a transfer service.
Self Drive
For
those wishing to drive, the Portes du Soleil can be
reached via a number of French ports from the UK. The
travelling time is usually around 9 hours. For
